THOUGHTFUL ABOUT CONTRACTS?

If you are considering trying to sell your photographs you will need to think about many things before trying to sell your first photograph. Micro-stock companies appear and disappear at a fantastic rate and you need to do research prior to signing a contract or doing business with a company. You need to think about what is to your advantage in a contract and how clearly it delineates both your responsibilities and the company's responsibilities. Can you easily  read and understand the contract? Does it have a clearly written "termination clause"? Will you get a company signed copy of the contract you signed and sent to them? Does the signature of the company representative match someone's name that is authorized to make legal contracts? What jurisdiction would have authority in case of a legal dispute? These are just a few of the things that are worthy of consideration. You might find even more good advice at: http://www.arcurs.com/. HERON PICTURES

I hope you enjoy viewing these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The taxonomic name is Ardea cinerea, but please do not ask me how to pronounce it.

For general information you might take this link to wikipedia.

An excellent blog about nature

I was doing a Google Blog Search for "Nature" and came across this blog: http://www.wildaboutnatureblog.com/. Though I did not have time to search through it as thoroughly as I would have liked, I am adding it to my Google Reader to make it easier to return to.

I "snapped" this photo on the way home from work late one afternoon / night. It was on a "back country" road. I thought that it came out rather well, considering that the camera was a Kodak Easy Share CX7430 point and shoot. I stopped the car and took a few seconds to take the picture while blocking some non existent traffic. I hope that you like it.

WWII Pacific Theater Aircraft

I was going through my blog reader catching up on a few blogs I follow and came across a few pictures of WWII aircraft used in the Pacific Theater. Thanks to Jake Peterson's blog post at http://www.jakepeterson.org/?p=2508. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did.

Can you imagine being a Bee?

Imagine that you are a busy little bee flying around collecting nectar

from the flowers on the tree.

You notice a string hanging down from a branch above

and follow it to part of a fishing rod stuck in the tree.

You find this interesting, but food and pollen are far more important.

Lunch Time.

More Photographic Inspiration and Perspiration......An Ant's eye view

Imagine that you are an ant on your way home after work":

This is what you would see as you are leaving the factory at the end of your shift.

This is the scenery on your way home.

This is what it looks like as you pull into your apartment complex.

AND FINALLY YOU ENTER YOUR FRONT DOOR.

NEST, SWEET NEST.
